Spiral wound gaskets

Spiral wound gaskets for industrial and high-temperature applications

Spiral wound gaskets from INNSEALS are used in demanding industrial plants where high pressures, high temperatures, or critical media must be reliably sealed. Typical application areas include power plants, chemical and petrochemical plants, steam generation, refrigeration systems, cryogenic technology, and thermal oil systems.

Depending on the application, spiral wound gaskets are suitable for operating ranges from vacuum to +320 bar. The selection of inner ring, outer ring, winding, and filler material is matched to the medium, temperature, pressure, and installation situation.

Spiral Wound Gaskets from INNSEALS

Spiral wound gaskets are robust gaskets for industrial applications with high requirements for pressure and temperature resistance. They are frequently used in flange connections and are suitable for media and operating conditions where simple flat gaskets are not sufficient.

The design, consisting of a metal spiral and suitable filler material, ensures a resilient sealing function. Depending on the design, inner and outer rings can be used to stabilize the gasket, support centering and reliably seal the flange connection.
