PTFE rotor seals – Due to the almost universal chemical resistance of PTFE materials, seals with PTFE sealing lips are particularly suitable for use with chemical, aggressive and corrosive media, pharmaceutical products, various coolants, synthetic oils, heat transfer oils, water and steam. Rotary seals with PTFE sealing lips were specifically developed for use in challenging conditions.
They are used when the performance limits of classic shaft seals are exceeded.
