What does that mean exactly?
If seals have served their purpose after several years, purchasing a new one is often problematic for the system owner. In many cases, the required seal is no longer available as a spare part. Such “replicas” are our specialty. The system owner brings the defective seal to us and we give him a replica after three to four weeks. So we produce every seal starting from a quantity of one! Through this service, we have already gained a lot of new customers and made a name for ourselves in sealing technology across the EU, especially in the D-A-CH area.

What information do you need for a replica?
In order to be able to produce the perfect replica part, we need information from the customer about the application, pressure temperature, speed and the medium against which the seal should work, i.e. oil, yoghurt or other liquids.

Who are your customers?
Our customers are plant manufacturers from a wide range of areas – from classic mechanical engineers to manufacturers of filling machines in the food and pharmaceutical industries. We are also represented in bio-medical technology. Basically anywhere seals are needed. Of course, the materials used play a special role, especially in the pharmaceutical and food industries. You need your own approvals here.

Which seals do you have in your portfolio?
From classic hydraulic cylinders to rotation seals, static seals and so-called “sanitary gaskets” for the food and pharmaceutical sectors to special variants of the classic O-ring. In addition, we produce molded rubber and plastic parts with sealing functions as well as special, heavy-duty rubber fabric seals according to customer drawings. Our rubber materials are suitable for temperatures down to minus 60 degrees and up to plus 325 degrees. These seals are manufactured using either injection molding or vulcanization processes. Using a special production process, we have already produced an O-ring with a diameter of nine meters for a hydroelectric power station. We have also recently started branding our seals as “Innseals”.

You founded the company Innseals in 2016. Where does your great experience come from?
I have been working in sealing technology since 2004 and have worked in technical trading for a long time, but also in production and sales. During this time, I often noticed the customers’ problems: a seal was defective and the right replacement could hardly be found. I wanted to change that: the idea behind the company Innseals was born. Offering the customer solutions and maximum flexibility – this basic idea is still Inneals’ USP today. As I said, we have no minimum order quantities and work and calculate completely transparently.

Where do you see your company in ten years?
Our goal is to move further and further away from the standard market and to specialize more and more in special products. We always want to be one step ahead of the state of the art because the systems are constantly developing. That is our claim.
